After earning her BFA in Modern Dance Saki ran away and joined the circus!  With love and aloha, she has performed, directed and taught movement and creative arts for over 30 years. An acrobat, rhythmic gymnast and dancer, she performs in numerous companies locally (Santa Cruz, CA) and afar (national and international tours). Saki has been honored to be with the New Pickle Circus, Patrick “Magic” Martin, Tandy Beal & Company, Project Bandaloop, Dr. Schaffer and Mr. Stern Dance Ensemble, Moving and Storage Performance Company, Mir and a Co. Aerial Dance, DVDance, and WEST Creative and Performing Arts.  Saki has taught and directed in over 50 Bay Area, Monterey and Santa Cruz schools.  She co-founded Circus Santa Cruz and co-directed youth circus workshops and performances. Saki has directed and performed in Tandy Beal & Company’s educational outreach programs and interactive performances: Dance Around the World, Step Right Up! and Imagine If. She is a long-time member of the Arts Council of Santa Cruz County's Artist/Teacher Partnership program, teaching a range of styles including creative movement, choreography and improvisation, circus arts, acrobatics, theatre and performance skills.  With the Dr. Schaffer & Mr. Stern Dance Ensemble (member of the Kennedy Center for the Arts Partners in Education) she is a trained educator in MathDance based curriculum grades K-12 for students, teachers and administrators. By invitation from directors Karl Shaffer and Erik Stern, Saki has toured various countries such as Korea and Hungary and many states from Maine to Hawaii.

Home to me is where I feel relaxed and supported with the ability to expand. It is where I can nourish my creative soul and make art. It is where there is love and loved ones for any amount of time. I have been blessed with worldwide accommodations such as the common family home with many many comforts and shelter as well as living in or near Santa Cruz for nearly 3 years by house and pet sitting in various locations. I enjoy creating home where I go in the present moment.

I care for love, joy and grace for all beings. I hope for comfort and ease for each individual to be in a home environment where everyone can reach their full potential fairly. Dignity and compassion for all is at the heart and in my heart.
